ABOUT ME
I am an entrepreneur, consultant, and former university instructor who is passionate about learning and business.
I’m a business book junkie, avid reader of business journals, and TED Talks addict (I’ve watched over 2,000 TED Talks in the past 5 years).
I started this blog to remember what I think about, and to share my thoughts with people who share my interests.
WHERE I’VE BEEN
- Co-founder of Organica Nutraceuticals which launched Sleepasil (sleep aid) in the Philippines in 2008, and has been the market leader for 10 years
- Co-founder of Mango Tree Restaurant (currently one of the top events venues in Iloilo City, Philippines)
- Co-founder of various tech startups (Surveiyo, Qoom: – did not achieve sufficient product market fit) and currently working on a new one called LegisLed
- Has done consulting work for various start-ups in London, Dubai, and Manila
- Ex-consultant at management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, working primarily in the telecommunications and government sectors in the Middle East
- Ex-instructor at the University of the Philippines; developed and taught courses in Entrepreneurship, Project Management, and Strategic Management
- Started career as a Field Engineer for Schlumberger, based out of Egypt and Indonesia
- Obtained an MBA at London Business School, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of the Philippines.
I’m currently based in Dubai, doing project management and change management work for the UAE government.
